Galway Rural Development currently has a number of positions available in the Headford / Tuam area on the Rural Social Scheme Programme.
There are positions available in both Administration & Village Maintenance.
The 2 key eligibility guidelines is that the person is in receipt of a weekly payment from the Department of Social Protection & has access to
a Farm Herd No. either their own or a direct family member spouse, partner, mother, father, brother, sister.
The key element of the Rural Social Scheme Programme is the length of job security available. If you qualify for a position this automatically
qualifies you for a place on the programme until you retire which is currently 66.
