ECLIPSED IN HEADFORD
The Ray Leonard Players will be on stage in Headford next weekend, with two performances of Patricia Burke Brogan’s powerful play, Eclipsed.
One of the first plays to tell the story of the Magdalene Laundries, Eclipsed explores the poignant and sometimes humorous story of young pregnant unwed mothers consigned to work as ‘penitents’ in church-run laundries.
Eclipsed will be staged in St Fursa’s Hall in Headford at 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, February 23rd and 24th.
Admission is just €10 and there will be a raffle each night. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
