DESCRIPTION:The Tumbling Paddies have grown from strength to strength\, particularly in the past two years. It is no surprise that their music is played in many venues throughout the world.\nOriginally starting out in 2014 as a five-piece performing at local weddings and pubs in their beloved County Fermanagh the band has continuously evolved to where they are today. It wasn’t long until Oisin came in on keyboards and the band started to expand on their music gaining more and more followers as they toured.\nA major turning point was the chance introduction with Manager Andrew Cox after a performance in Belleek\, County Fermanagh. Andrew gave the lads the drive and determination to record and perform throughout Ireland and further afield. After a few years of heavy gigging and indeed the band’s first album of ten original tracks they have attracted a large group of loyal fans throughout Ireland and further afield. They continue to sell out venues up and down Ireland such as the TF Castlebar and the INEC in Killarney as well as many venues throughout the world having previously toured in Dubai\, Germany\, Spain\, and England.\nSongwriting and original material is a major part of The Tumbling Paddies. Many of these songs have been hits over the last number of years including ‘Pretty Girl’ and ‘Night on the Town’ but the band’s major success is ‘The Way I Am’ which topped the Irish charts for 10 weeks.\n\nIt is no surprise that the band is in hot demand with their exuberant energy-filled live show. Their mix of Original Material along with many classics brings you one of the best nights of entertainment out there.

DESCRIPTION:Headfest\, the Headford annual community festival is expected to take place over the June Bank Holiday weekend from from Friday 31st May to Sunday 2nd June 2024. A temporary arena is expected to be based in the Moyne Villa F.C sportsgrounds for the duration of the festival. \nMonaghan’s Big Red Barn\, which is taking place over the weekend\, will feature live music and wonderful entertainment every night. The headline acts for this year’s festival are The Tumbling Paddies\, Cliona Hagan\, All Folk’d Up\, and Gerry Guthrie\, and it’ll be a weekend of entertainment you won’t want to miss! \nOn Sunday\, we have a family fun day\, and on Monday\, we host a “Mini Headfest” music event in Monaghan’s Big Red Barn\, with activities and music geared toward our community’s younger members. \nThey also have a complete calendar of community events\, including art and photography exhibitions\, football\, rugby\, fishing\, soccer\, clay pigeon shooting\, a craft market\, community yoga\, and a cooking demonstration by a local professional chef. \nFor those who haven’t been\, Headford is a small town with a big heart and a lot of community spirit\, and there are a lot of free events\, thanks to an army of volunteers and the generous support of Monaghan’s Headford\, Monaghan’s Skoda and Seat\, and many smaller local businesses who donate to us year after year and help us on our mission to bring people together and give the town something to be proud of. \n\nHeadfest lineup for 2024:\n\n\n\nFriday night: The Tumbling Paddies with Trad Lib. \n\n\nSaturday night: Rattlin’ Rogues with The Thirsty Crows. \n\n\nSunday night: All Folk’d up with The Danny Byrne band. \n\n\n\n\nTickets:\n €25 per night.  €65 weekend ticket covering the 3 nights.

DESCRIPTION:Contemporary Irish Folk-Rock group\, All Folk’d UpOriginally formed back in Dublin by banjo virtuoso and lead singer Pauric Mohan while studying for a Music degree in the capital. He soon brought in younger brother Barry and other members to bolster the band’s line-up. After polishing their live set with a full band line up\, All Folk’d Up soon landed themselves a residency at Dublin’s world famous – Temple Bar\, developing a devoted and impassioned fanbase along the way. From those early days in Dublin the band have evolved and captured fans from all over the world.\nThe Danny Byrne Band are the fastest growing band on the Irish music scene\, and their unique style of high energy modern folk has crowds going mental everywhere they perform. From a few miles outside of Newry\, these South Armagh men travel all over Ireland and the UK delivering electrifying gigs.
