Galway County Council is inviting the public to participate in an online survey to assist in establishing the profile of demand and preferred locations in County Galway for affordable homes. An affordable housing scheme provides houses at a reduced price for eligible applicants, including First Time Buyers and Fresh Start Buyers, in areas where there is an identified housing demand and an affordability constraint. The survey will inform the ongoing work of developing affordable housing across the County, in accordance with ‘Housing for All Delivery Action Plan 2022-2026’.
The survey can be viewed and completed on the Galway County Council website at www.galway.ie/affordablesurvey. The survey will be open for 4 weeks from September 4th to October 4th. Details of the survey have been promoted in print and social media, online and radio.
