Creative Jewels Exhibition

Back in September, as part of Something In The Water 2024, two wonderful local artists, Judith Higgins and Miquel Barcelo, embarked on a project with the students of Presentation College Headford’s Seomra Seoda.

Over the course of about 10 weeks, Judith and Miquel worked with the group to help them discover and develop their own creative talent, and the results of this exploration are nothing short of incredible!

The groups art work will be exhibited at The Homeplace Café on Main St. in Headford, from this Monday 16th of December, until the school returns in January, and we hope you’ll pop in to take a look!

Our huge thanks go to Presentation College Headford for their willingness to become involved in this Creative Jewels project, and all aspects of the festival, as well as to Judith and Miquel for their energy enthusiasm and guidance, and all of the participants in the project—who were brave enough to take a leap into the unknown with Judith and Miquel.

And last but not least, our thanks to Orlaith Keane and all of the staff in The Homeplace for working around us on a Saturday afternoon, and hosting the exhibition and continuing to support local artists.
