Defibrillators Update from Caherlistrane Kilcoona Community Council

One of the ways in which Caherlistrane Kilcoona Community Council support the community is by providing two potentially life-saving defibrillators. These devices are strategically located at both parish churches:
• Adjacent to the main entrance of the Church of Mary Immaculate & St. Joseph in *Caherlistrane*

• Next to the side entrance of the Church of St. Patrick & St. Cuana at *Corner Chapel*

Earlier this year, we secured a grant from the HSE, which enabled us to replace one of the defibrillators. More recently, we purchased a second unit to replace the other that was uneconomic to repair. Both defibrillators are housed in heated outdoor storage cabinets installed by the Community Council.

Each cabinet includes a list of trained defibrillator users along with their contact numbers. If you are trained in defibrillator use and would like to have your details added to the list, please contact 086 6010583.

To make them easy to spot, the cabinets are bright yellow and have a green AED sign above them. We have also included some images so you can familiarise yourself with their location.
